Hi there and welcome. My name is Rebecca, and this is my site. This site exists to share my thoughts, photos, experiences, and current geographic location with anyone who might want to know such things. Friends, long-long friends, potential employers, all of you are free to poke around.
Despite enjoying web technology and design, I honestly don’t like to spend any more time managing my own website than I have to. So for simplicity’s sake, I’ve forsaken the details of self-design in favor of the time-savings of wordpress. Hopefully this means that there will be more content here, and less time spent on choosing fonts and arranging HTML. And more time to make beautiful, functional sites for other people out there who need more customization than I do.
The need for simplicity also means that, at least for the time being, I’ve prevented commenting on posts. But that doesn’t mean I don’t like feedback, so if you see something that you have a strong reaction to (positive or negative!) please drop me a line. Hurrah! I have decided to go ahead and allow commenting, until such time as it is more problematic and time consuming than enjoyable. So comment away! Or, be traditional and send me email.
