		<description>Hi Fran - I tried to look up what the rock was, but I couldn't find any definitive answers on the net (if anyone out there knows, please post!)  However, since I *did* get a bachelor's degree in Geology, you'd think I'd have some sort of educated guess of my own... so here goes:  I think it's some sort of limestone or dolostone, very well compressed, but not completely metamorphosed- from some other pictures I took, it looks like it cracks in layers. Unfortunately I didn't have a handy bottle of HCl to see if it fizzed....  anyway that's my guess and I'd love to hear from someone if I'm wrong.</description>
